Colours
Our current colour range is shown below.  All colours are dyed using modern techniques but shades are copied exactly from either original patterns or patterns which have been dyed using receipts from documentary sources.

Minimum stand alone order is 1m, (0.25m when opurchased as part of a larger order), lengths of 3m or more can be custom dyed to match samples.  A small surcharge applies for this service.

Note that colour names were not standardised until the middle of the 19th Century.  This does not mean they weren't uniform or that they varied, rather the names are not a reliable source for establishing the shades.
We have spent much time examining and cross referencing original samples in order to etsblish relative shades;  Please contact us for advice on specific colours.

Note; the colours shown below have been scanned from samples of the dyed cloths.  However, they are for guidance only since performance of monitors will vary.  In addition note that the shades tend to appear brighter than when viewed in normal conditions due to the intense illumination of the Scanning process.
