Advice.
Historical Textiles can be a bewildering field so we are always happy to discuss your project and advise the most suitable fabric. We are able to do so because of the huge amount of primary research we have conducted over many years.
Our policy is to advise what is correct for your project, NOT to try to sell one of our fabrics. If we don’t produce the right fabric we will tell you so.

Colours.
We have a large range of colours researched from original examples, which enables us to provide the correct colour, rather than keeping a small range and trying to sell those colours whether they are right or not.

Stock.
Our products are researched and produced exclusively, not surplus stock from modern producers. Because of this it is not always possible to have every colour available in every quality of fabric.
However, because we produce our own we will be able to tell you what stock is available and when new fabric will be coming out of production.
Even if we don’t have exactly what you want in most cases we hold undyed stock and will be able to dye some for you in a few weeks, so we can supply what you need, not what we have.
